Club Rules
- The Club shall be known as Mow Cop & District Angling Club
- Any Committee Member not attending 3 consecutive meetings without an apology will be demed to have resigned from the committee.
- Any member who as been asked to appear before the committee and fails to do so will be automatically expelled from the Club
- Anyone breaking any rules will be asked to appear before the committee
- Any member found leaving litter on club waters shall be banned, any litter found on a peg will be the responsibility of the person fishing that peg, there must be no fires on club waters and no cans, bottles allowed on club waters.
- All members must have a rod licence to fish the club waters. These will be check by the bailiffs.
- Club cards must be carried at all times, you are a bailiff, you have the right to ask any other person on club waters for their membership card, and if they fail to produce it they must be treated as trespassers and asked to leave the water. All fees must be paid.
- Anyone banned from any other club will be asked to appear before the committee before they will be allowed to join the club; the club retains the right to refuse admission.
- Two rods only allowed at any time except on club waters with the exception of Rode pool where anglers upon paying an extra charge of £12.50 and getting their membership card stamped at a club meeting or by Mr M Poole or Mr R Wegehaupt. NO RODS TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED
- No member under the age of 16 years to fish Rue Moss unless accompanied by an adult.
- No carp to be put into keep nets on Rue Moss unless caught in a match.
- All Pike to be returned alive.
- No Climbing trees.
- No nut baits or baits boats.
- No fixed Carp leads.
- No night fishing from Dawn to Dusk only.
- Fishing on numbered pegs only.
- Unhooking mats must be used for big fish.
- Barbed hooks are optional on club waters except when live or dead baiting, when barbless or semi barbed hooks on wire traces must be used.
- All live baits must be caught on site.
- All litter must be taken home.
- No cigarette butts to be discarded into the waters or on the bank.
- No dogs allowed.
- All gates must be shut.
- Vehicles must use the official parking areas.
- Baskets and bags may be searched by Bailiffs.
- The club shall accept NO liability for loss, damage or injury whilst on club waters. Anglersb fishing club waters do so at their own risk.
- All members must abide by the environment agency Bylaws.
ANYONE CAUGHT WITH ALCHOL IN CANS OR BOTTLES OF ANY KIND ON CLUB WATERS WILL BE BANNED
